Welcome! We all need a safe space to feel seen, heard, and supported. In my experience, the therapeutic process is accelerated when we work with specific tools and practices to bring us into the present moment and into our bodies.

All of the modalities I draw on have been transformative in my own life—my training in mindfulness, yoga and other body-centered practices, my understanding of attachment and how our earliest relationships shape and impact us throughout our life, and my study of trauma’s profound impact on our lives and how to heal it. I pay attention to the “unconscious” parts of our selves—they can be sources of creativity and power or keep us stuck in unhealthy patterns of living and relating. I’m also attuned to the ways in which social dynamics, gender norms, power, and privilege impact our lives.

I’m grateful for the therapeutic training and life experiences that have led me to offer you this space of reflection and transformation. By including the body in therapy, we can do so much more than just “talk about” your problems. Instead, therapy can be a dynamic and experiential space offering new possibilities of feeling and living.

"When you touch one thing with deep awareness,
 you touch everything.

I work with individuals and couples to help you become more fully present, connected, and satisfied and to tackle feelings of depression, anxiety, grief and trauma. I'm a certified Hakomi Mindful Somatic Therapist, and am trained in PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy) My focus is on helping you deepen your connection to yourself or your partner by shifting old, outdated patterns and taking in new, healing experiences.

I use the gentle and effective techniques of Somatic Experiencing® to help you heal from trauma. You'll gain access to greater freedom, relaxation and more capacity to connect with yourself and others. By paying close attention to the body and your nervous system activation, we can strengthen your capacity for enjoyment and satisfaction while unwinding patterns of contraction, fear, and avoidance.

Motherhood and parenting usher in profound changes and challenges. Many of us feel overwhelmed and under-supported. I offer psychotherapy tailored to the transitions of motherhood and parenting. We can address post-partum depression, traumatic birth experiences, attachment issues, loss of identity, boundary setting, parenting and relationship struggles or other unique challenges you face.

Writing in community can be a tremendous resource for health & connection. I offer writing groups where you can discover your unique voice, experience freedom from the inner critic and receive heartfelt feedback and inspiration from others.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado and hold a Master's degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University. I am a Certified Hakomi Mindful Somatic Therapist, hold a certificate in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Center for training in Psychotherapy in Toronto and am currently studying Somatic Experiencing®. I also have many years of meditation and yoga training and integrate the wisdom gleaned from these practices into my daily life and my work with others.

Being the mother of two children is a source of creative inspiration and constant personal growth.
